About the Project
White River Hub, LLC (White River), a limited liability company with Enterprise Products Operating, LLC (Enterprise) and Questar Pipeline Company (Questar) as members, plans to construct and operate approximately 7 miles of new 30-inch-diameter pipeline and appurtenant facilities (including tie-in and metering facilities) and acquire an additional 3 miles of existing 36-inch-diameter pipeline from Enterprise, all in Rio Blanco County, Colorado. The Project is referred to herein as the “White River Hub Project” or the “Project”.
The planned facilities would interconnect Enterprise’s natural-gas processing plant with six interstate natural-gas pipeline facilities owned by Questar, Rockies Express Pipeline, LLC, TransColorado Gas Transmission Company, Colorado Interstate Gas Company, Wyoming Interstate Company, Ltd., and Northwest Pipeline Corporation. The Project would provide approximately 2,645,000 Dth/d of firm and interruptible transportation/wheeling service allowing producers, marketers and shippers access to downstream markets for natural-gas volumes produced in the Piceance Basin.
The White River proposed project does not involve LNG terminal facilities or related jurisdictional natural-gas facilities.
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is the federal agency charged with determining whether proposed interstate pipeline projects, such as the proposed Project, are in the public convenience and necessity.
